DESCRIPTION:http://www.sonyamembers.org/ViewEvent.ashx?eventId=472684\n\nCall to all SONYArtists to submit your art work:\n   \n  We invite you to submit to be included in our Prelude Exhibition titled\, Reflections: Celebrating the 13th Annual Studio Stroll\n  The theme of your submissions should focus on community and or neighborhood.\n   \n  Our Prelude Exhibition and opening and end of Stroll parties will be held at The Alumni Room Gallery at\n<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />  St Joseph’s College\,  245 Clinton Avenue\, Brooklyn\, New York(between DeKalb and  Willoughby Avenue).  The Prelude Exhibition opening party will be Thursday June 7th 6:00-9:00pm\, and the end of Stroll celebration Sunday June 10th\, 6:30-9:00pm.      Submission requirements:\n   \n      * All active SONYA members are welcome to submit work for consideration.  If you have not joined or renewed yet\, you can do so here: http://sonyamembers.org/prelude\n\n        * Registration for the Stroll ends April 12th\, register here if you haven’t yet:  http://sonyamembers.org/RegisterForStroll\n\n        * Submit up to 2 jpeg images to wcburke@mindspring.com\, Include medium\, size\, title and price\, and a brief description of how the piece fits the theme in your email by Thursday May 10\, 2012\n\n        * Wall based work should be no larger than 24” X 30”\, and have been created within the last eighteen months\n\n        * All mediums will be considered\n\n        * The work must be framed and ready to hang\, with hanging wire securely attached to the back of the piece. Artist must provide pedestals for three dimensional work.\n\n        * All proceeds from a sale go to the artist.  St. Josephs will however\, accept a donation.\n\n  •·              Notification of inclusion Prelude by  Tuesday May 15\, 2012\n  •·        Deliver work to \n  St. Joseph’s Alumni Room Gallery on Monday June 4\, 2012\, for inclusion in the Prelude Exhibition         * All work selected for the Prelude will be on view at the Gallery from Thursday June 7 through Saturday June 16.\n\n    Please note:\n  SONYAs curatorial team and\n  St. Joseph’s College Gallery reserve the right of refusal of any work found to be too difficult or dangerous to hang due to faulty framing\, oversize or overweight\, or inappropriate content.
